About Us

Deccan AI is a model training and eval startup headquartered in the Bay Area. We are founded by IIT Bombay, IIM Ahmedabad and ex-Google alumni, and work with some of the top AI frontier labs in the world, e.g. Google Deepmind, Snowflake, and many more. We are backed by Prosus Ventures, and our India delivery office is in Hyderabad. Most of our roles are on-site i.e. Bay Area / Hyderabad.

We’re on the lookout for a dynamic Product Designer who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves turning ideas into stunning, user-friendly digital products. If you’re eager to craft impactful experiences and collaborate with cross-functional teams, this is the role for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Design captivating wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI for web and mobile apps
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and marketers to shape visionary product experiences
• Dive into user research and testing to fuel data-driven design improvements
• Analyze user feedback to continuously enhance and iterate on designs
• Build and maintain scalable design systems ensuring brand consistency everywhere
• Stay ahead of UI/UX trends and master the latest design tools and technologies
• Create user personas, journey maps, and task flows that bring users’ stories to life

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Product Designer or similar role, backed by a strong, diverse portfolio
• Expert proficiency with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Strong skills in wireframing, prototyping, and mapping user flows
• Bonus points for knowing HTML/CSS, but it’s not a dealbreaker
