Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative, efficient, and user-friendly product designs in the field of fire and safety product like smoke detector and also they are responsible for design different type of bottle and packaging for our product. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and marketing, to bring concepts from ideation to production. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in design engineering, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for developing new products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of new products, from initial concept through to final design and manufacturing support.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, marketing, etc.) to ensure that product designs meet functional, aesthetic, cost, and performance requirements.
• Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar) to create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes.
• Conduct design analysis to ensure product designs are manufacturable, safe, and compliant with relevant industry standards.
• Perform testing, validation, and iteration of product designs to improve quality, efficiency, and user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, manufacturing techniques, and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions.
• Ensure designs adhere to product specifications, cost constraints, and timelines.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for design specifications, product development processes, and project timelines.
• Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to ensure feasibility and optimize the manufacturing process.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the production and post-production phases.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years proven experience in product design, engineering, or related roles, preferably in Fire and safety product or bottle and packaging.
• Proficient in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, material properties, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with prototyping, testing, and iterative product development.
• Knowledge of relevant design standards, regulations, and certifications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with 3D printing, rapid prototyping, and other modern manufacturing techniques.
• Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in product design.
• Experience in consumer products, electronics, automotive, or other relevant industries.
