Fam is Indias first payments app for everyone above 11. FamApp helps make online and offline payments through UPI and FamCard. We are on a mission to raise a new, financially aware generation, and drive 250 million+ youngest users in India to kickstart their financial journey super early in their life.

About this Role
At Fam, data isnt just numbers its how we build better products. Were looking for a Product Analyst whos excited to go beyond dashboards and uncover the why behind the metrics. Youll partner closely with Product Managers, dive deep into data, and surface insights that directly shape product decisions. If you love spotting patterns, solving puzzles, and turning messy datasets into stories that move the business forward, this role is for you.
On the Job
- Partner with PMs to define the right success metrics and measure what matters.
- Write efficient SQL queries to dig into large datasets and answer tough questions.
- Analyze user behaviour to uncover opportunities, friction points, and growth levers.
- Turn raw data into clear, actionable insights not just pretty dashboards.
- Share findings with product, design, and engineering teams in simple, compelling ways.
- Build lightweight dashboards/reports where needed for visibility.
- Stay curious: proactively spot anomalies, trends, and untapped opportunities.
Requirements
- 1 3 years in product/data analytics, BI, or similar.
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Economics, Stats, Math, etc.).
- Strong SQL skills you should be comfortable writing advanced queries on large datasets.
- Hands-on with tools like Mixpanel, Metabase, Amplitude, or Looker.
- Solid grasp of statistics: A/B tests, cohorts, funnels, significance testing.
- Clear communicator who can turn complex analyses into simple, actionable insights.
- A curious problem-solver who loves going deep into data.
Good to have
- Experience in fintech, consumer apps, or fast-paced startups.
- Comfort with Python or R for advanced analysis. Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and growth analytics.
- Experience with large-scale databases (ClickHouse, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).
- Ability to understand product flows, funnels, and technical concepts and explain them to both product and engineering teams.
