Procurement Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet business needs.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Manage purchase orders, vendor relationships, and contract compliance.
• Conduct market research and analyze trends to optimize procurement strategies.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams for timely supply.
• Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and legal requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency improvements.
• Prepare reports, forecasts, and procurement budgets for management review

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or sourcing.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and results-oriented approach
