Job Title: Junior Civil Engineer Department: Engineering/Projects Reporting To: Senior Engineer Key Responsibilities 1. Project Planning & Milestone Reporting o Prepare detailed project milestone reports for newly assigned projects after thoroughly understanding the scope provided by the Manager. o Include schedules for procurement planning and labour allocation in the milestone plan. o Obtain approvals from the Senior Engineer and Project Manager before finalising and circulating the milestone report. 2. Material & Quantity Management o Prepare the Order of Items Report covering the complete Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for each assigned project. o Share the order of items list at least one week in advance with the Senior Engineer and Project Manager for review. o Follow up with the procurement team only after approvals are received from both the Senior Engineer and Project Manager. o Ensure procurement follow-ups are initiated a minimum of three days in advance of the required date. 3. Daily Progress Tracking o Execute daily tasks as per the approved milestone sheet and update daily progress reports in Google Sheets or the onsite application. o Revise milestone sheets if tasks remain incomplete, updating revised timelines and informing the Senior Engineer of any changes. 4. Site Documentation & Photo Updates o Upload two daily photos (before start and after completion of work) to the project repository. o Ensure all uploaded work is reviewed and acknowledged by Senior Engineers. 5. Workforce Monitoring & Training o Conduct workmen training sessions on assigned tasks to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. o Monitor workforce activities to confirm tasks are executed as per instructions and quality expectations.
