Job Description

Purpose - Why does this role exist?

Ensure that the procurement process for various OPEX/CAPEX is as per DOP and JSW guidelines and procedures.
Coordination with New sites, Operational plant and Central Procurement Cell.
Assisting reporting Manager in negotiations for review with Cost estimation and having thorough knowledge of Commercial & Technical aspects.
Timely Sourcing of goods & Services and managing Vendors.
New Vendor Development and Vendor Registration.
Issuing of Purchase order and creation of GRN/SRNs
Processing of advance payment.
Explore various innovative practices/approaches to simplify the procurement process, achieve better quality & delivery schedules etc.
Ensure that the procurement process for various projects/ modification activities gets completed in line with the project completion period.
To generate alternatives and novel approaches and implement new ways of working.
To develop synergy/Collaboration, anticipates and responds actively and sensitively in meeting the needs and expectations of internal and external customers.
Scrutiny of the comparative statements and responsible for stringent negotiations with suppliers
Coordinating improvement projects in commercial domain.
Educational Background and Work Experience:

6 10 years, BE, B.tech, PGDBM / MBA (Material mgmt., Operation Mgmt.)
Conversant with Operational software – MS Office, SAP, ARIBA etc.
Should have experience in partnering with an executive team and have a high level of written / oral communication & interpersonal skills.
Must have experience working in a
Thermal Plant.
