Procurement Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management

  : Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of procurement specialists, providing guidance on best practices, professional development, and performance management.

• Procurement Strategy

  : Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the companys business goals. Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk management in the procurement cycle.

• Supplier & Vendor Management

  : Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions, review supplier performance, and ensure the highest quality of goods and services is being delivered.

• Sourcing & Contract Negotiation

  : Oversee the end-to-end sourcing process, including researching suppliers, requesting bids, negotiating prices, and drafting contracts. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

• Cross-functional Collaboration

  : Work closely with other departments (e.g., finance, operations, and legal) to understand procurement needs and ensure smooth execution of sourcing plans.

• Budget & Cost Control

  : Assist in the development and management of procurement budgets. Track and analyze expenditures, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and financial goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education

  : Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. A Master's degree or an Engineer.

• Experience

  : At least 1 - 2 years of experience in procurement. Experience in managing cross-functional teams and handling complex procurement tasks is essential.

• Procurement Expertise

  : Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.

• Negotiation Skills

  : Proven ability to negotiate effectively with vendors to secure favourable terms and reduce costs.
