PART C : JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
- Negotiate terms and contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Receive and review purchase requisitions from different departments.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) based on approved procurement requests.
- Ensure all procurement transactions comply with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor purchasing expenses to ensure adherence to budget constraints.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategic procurement initiatives.
- Conduct price comparisons and analyze market trends.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements, and invoices.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
- Handle vendor disputes and resolve issues related to delayed shipments or defective goods.
- Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier developments.
- Evaluate alternative suppliers and products to ensure competitive procurement.
- Conduct risk assessments related to supply chain disruptions.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Track and ensure the timely delivery of goods to prevent operational disruptions.
- Work closely with departments to forecast purchasing needs and avoid shortages.
PART D : ACADEMIC / PROFESIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of degree in supply chain, Business or Commerce
- B.E
- MBA in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
PART E : RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of degree, unlimited fields.
- Experience working in procurement for at least 2-5years.
- Certification in Procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPP, CPSM) is an advantage.
- Experience in [Industry-Specific Requirement, e.g., Manufacturing, Retail, Construction
]
. - Familiarity with import/export regulations (if applicable).
- Able to use computer and MS office programs.
- Good communication in English (Speaking, reading, and writing).

- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve procurement-related issues.
