Procurement Engineer

As a Procurement Specialist at our company, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Procuring Electronics/electrical Components from various vendors in the market. - Handling purchase requisitions from different departments, processing them, and releasing purchase orders within 2 to 3 working days for regular requirements. - Identifying and developing new/alternative vendors from the Indian market to improve lead time and pricing. - Recording all purchase transactions in ERP software. - Researching technical and commercial information of materials from suppliers before making a purchase. - Utilizing negotiation skills with suppliers, strategic planning, and exploring new material sources to reduce costs. - Familiarity with technical and commercial terms and conditions related to procurement. - Effective written and verbal communication skills in English. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics field. - 3 years of experience in Electrical Procurement and Sourcing. Please note that this is a full-time position with day shift schedule based in Vadodara, Gujarat.
