Job Description

Commercial Operation
Roles and Responsibilities


  • Keep constant track of Purchase Requisitions (PRs) in the system and convert them into Purchase Orders (POs) within defined timelines.



  • Maintain purchase quotation charts and negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with selected vendors.



  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and manage timely returns/replacements for rejected items.



  • Monitor all open POs and remove cancelled POs from the system in a timely manner.



  • Regularly review all open PRs for item details and values to support budgeting processes.



  • Assist user departments in creating and maintaining a robust PR management process using the Tally system.



  • Maintain complete, updated, and accurate purchase data.



  • Provide weekly system-generated reports as required by the Head of Department.



  • Ensure timely submission of MIS reports.



  • Manage procurement of all materials and products effectively.



  • Develop alternate vendors and explore cost-saving opportunities for domestic and international procurement.



  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers and logistics partners.



  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (warehouse, manufacturing, PPMC, purchase) for seamless material movement and distribution.



  • Coordinate with external stakeholders such as delivery companies, suppliers, hospitals, and customs (when required).



  • Ensure timely deliveries and proper handling of rejects and replacements.



  • Ensure all products and materials are delivered on time and in good condition.



  • Comply with all applicable regulations and quality control standards.



  • Coordinate with the warehouse for effective stock control.



  • Verify expiry dates of all received materials.

Qualifications & Educational Requirements

  • Logistics, Supply Chain Management


  • 8+ years


  • Pharma/Biotech industry is mandatory
