Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, assembly, coating, testing)
SOP preparation & process documentation
PFMEA / DFMEA
Timemotion study
Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Process validation & capability studies (Cp, Cpk)
Knowledge of ISO/TS standards
Lean manufacturing tools (Kaizen, 5S, SMED, Poka-Yoke)
Quality assurance basics (7QC tools)
New product introduction (NPI) support

Analytical & Software Skills

Strong data analysis (Excel, Power BI preferred)
CAD knowledge (AutoCAD / SolidWorks – basic understanding of drawings)
ERP/MES proficiency
Cost analysis & process costing
Problem-solving tools (Why-Why, RCA, Fishbone)

Operations & Implementation Skills

Cycle time reduction
Scrap reduction & waste elimination
