Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

Prepare project baseline schedules using software (MS Project / Primavera).
Develop work breakdown structure (WBS) and resource-loaded schedules.
Track project progress against the baseline and identify variances.

2. Monitoring & Progress Reporting

Prepare weekly / monthly MIS, dashboards, and delay analysis reports.
Review contractor schedules, progress charts, and productivity norms.

3. Cost & Resource Planning

Assist in budgeting, cash flow forecasts, and material planning.
Monitor resource utilization and optimize manpower & equipment deployment.

4. Coordination & Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with project execution, design, procurement & finance teams.
Conduct review meetings and follow up for action items and deliverables.

5. Risk & Delay Analysis

Identify risks affecting timeline, propose corrective & preventive actions.
Carry out extension of time (EOT) analysis and claim evaluation.

6. Tender & Contract Support

Assist in technical evaluation, quantity estimation, and project strategy.
Review contract conditions and planning requirements.

7. Documentation & Compliance

Maintain all planning documentation and records as per audit requirements.
Ensure adherence to internal processes and quality guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile

B.Tech/B.E Civil or equivalent.
9–14 years of experience in planning within real estate / construction / infrastructure projects.
Hands-on experience in schedule development & project control.
