Basic Engineering and calculation knowledge( concept & Layout) Responsible for the Project from end to end within time Design calculation for speed, power, torque, stress and deflection Selection of critical bought out items like gear box, servo motors, pneumatics, LM guides etc New Product development of Machines and its components Preferred candidate profile Minimum 4-7 years experience in design dept. Hands-on experience on Solid Edge and Auto cad is must. Proposal & Estimation: Analyze customer inquiries, RFQs, and technical specifications. Prepare technical proposals, cost estimations, and commercial offers. Coordinate with the sales team to define project scope and pricing strategies. Design & Engineering: Develop 2D and 3D layouts for material handling systems using AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar). Create conceptual designs and optimize solutions based on customer needs. Ensure designs comply with engineering standards, safety regulations, and feasibility. Customer Interaction & Communication: Communicate effectively with customers to understand technical requirements. Present and explain proposals, technical solutions, and cost structures. Assist in negotiations and technical discussions with clients. Coordination & Documentation: Work closely with internal departments like sales, design, and production teams. Maintain detailed project documentation, drawings, and technical data. Provide technical support during the execution phase.
