🎓 Position Overview

Principal / Academic Incharge

• Academic curriculum
• Therapeutic interventions

A strong focus on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and inclusive practices is essential.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and implement a strategic vision aligned with the institution’s mission.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative environment.
• Lead curriculum design tailored to students with special needs.

2. Academic & Therapeutic Coordination

• Supervise special educators and therapy teams (speech, occupational, behavioral).
• Oversee development and execution of IEPs.
• Monitor and enhance student progress.

3. Staff Management & Development

• Recruit, train, and evaluate staff.
• Encourage continuous professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration.

4. Parent & Community Engagement

• Build strong relationships with parents and guardians.
• Organize family workshops and regular review meetings.
• Engage with NGOs and educational authorities for partnerships and outreach.

5. Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure adherence to educational and safety regulations.
• Maintain records on student progress, therapy, and staff performance.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field (

  mandatory

  )
• B.Ed. in Special Education (

  preferred

  )
• 7–10 years of experience in special education or therapy settings
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of neurodevelopmental disorders, inclusive education, and therapy models
