About the Role

Principal Officers (PO)

This is a key leadership role involving regulatory liaison, governance responsibility, and oversight of regulated financial services activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as

  Principal Officer

  under applicable

  IFSCA regulations

• Ensure regulatory compliance and governance across IFSC operations
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess applicability
• Liaise with IFSCA and other regulatory authorities
• Support regulatory filings, audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
• Provide regulatory guidance on business activities and structures

Eligibility & Qualifications

Any one of the following:

• Professional qualification (CA / CS / LLB or equivalent), OR
• Postgraduate degree/diploma (minimum 1 year) in Finance, Law, Accountancy, Business Management, Commerce, Economics, Capital Markets, Banking, Insurance, Actuarial Science, FinTech, STEM disciplines, OR
• CFA / FRM, OR
• Any other qualification as specified by the Authority

Alternative Qualification:

• Graduation in any discipline with:
• Minimum

  5 years

  experience in financial services (Broker Dealer / GIC), OR
• Minimum

  15 years

  experience in fund management–related activities (FMI)

Experience Requirements

• Broker Dealer:

  Minimum

  3 years

  experience in financial services

• Fund Management Institution:

  Minimum

  5 years

  experience in securities markets or financial products

• GIC:

  Experience as prescribed by the Authority

Certification Requirement

• Mandatory certifications as prescribed by

  IFSCA / the Authority

Location Requirement

• Candidate

  must be based out of IFSC, GIFT City
