Shivalik College of Pharmacy (COP) invites applications from an eminent academician and visionary leaders for the position of Principal. The role requires a dynamic professional to lead the institution in academic excellence, research, and compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks such as UGC, PCI, and AICTE.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the institution’s academic, research, and administrative activities.
• Ensure implementation of curriculum, teaching-learning processes, and assessment methods as per UGC, PCI, and AICTE guidelines.
• Promote innovative pedagogy, ICT-enabled learning, and quality education in pharmacy programs (B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D).
• Foster a culture of research, publications, patents, and collaborations with industry and academic institutions.

Administrative Leadership:

• Oversee all academic and administrative functions of the institution efficiently.
• Lead faculty recruitment, development, mentoring, and performance appraisal systems.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory bodies such as UGC, PCI, AICTE, and state pharmacy councils.
• Manage institutional accreditation, ranking, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Supervise financial management, infrastructure development, and resource planning.

Student Development:

• Promote holistic student development through academic guidance, training, internships, and co-curricular activities.
• Enhance employability, entrepreneurship, and research skills of students.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for students.

Qualifications & Eligibility (As per UGC & PCI norms):

• Educational Qualification: PhD in Pharmacy (mandatory)
• Academic Record: First Class at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels in Pharmacy
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of teaching/research/industry experience in Pharmacy, with at least 5 years at the level of Professor in a recognized institution
• Proven track record of academic leadership, administration, research, and institution building
