As an Information Security Architect at Ameriprise India LLP, your role involves specializing in cloud security, particularly in AWS, collaborating with the Information Security department and Cloud Engineering teams. You will be responsible for driving proof of concepts for existing or new services on AWS or Azure as per business needs. Your ability to lead architectural discussions to ensure successful deployment in the cloud is crucial. Additionally, you will provide strategic thought leadership on enterprise cloud security posture, emphasizing the use of emerging AI technologies to address evolving risks associated with widespread AI adoption. Key Responsibilities: - Use appropriate design techniques and methodologies to conduct proof of concepts and present outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders convincingly with relevant rationale. - Develop current and future state architecture roadmaps and align them with enterprise technology principles and strategy. - Contribute to and author application and capability strategies, maintain and apply architecture standards, and establish disciplines and principles. - Design external system interface architecture with the application of suitable techniques and standards. - Determine integrated hardware and software architecture solutions meeting performance, usability, scalability, reliability, security, and business/functional requirements. - Maintain expertise in architectural modeling, frameworks, emerging technologies, and best practices. Mentor and develop less experienced technical staff and provide technical leadership in both business-as-usual and crisis situations. - Recommend new procedures and processes to drive desired results on diverse projects and perform industry research with external parties while maintaining networks amongst peers. - Collaborate with other architects and application development teams to ensure alignment and integration across portfolio boundaries and promote an enterprise focus on applications management. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; or relevant work experience. - 9-14 years of relevant experience with rich hands-on engineering experience on AWS cloud services. - Knowledge of Enterprise-wide architecture and the ability to understand the broader impact of current and future technologies. - Internal/External consulting experience influencing technology and business leaders. - Experience in the architecture, design, implementation, and support of complex enterprise solutions. - Exposure to multiple diverse technical configurations, technologies, and process improvements. Preferred Qualifications: - Ability to explain highly technical solutions to both technical and non-technical teams. - Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills for problem-solving. - Demonstrated ability to design appropriate solutions leveraging industry patterns.
