Principal Lead-AWS Security Architect

As an Information Security Architect at Ameriprise India LLP, your role will involve specializing in cloud security, particularly AWS. You will work collaboratively with the Information Security department and Cloud Engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include the following: - Specializing in AWS security, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), network security, data protection, security monitoring services, authentication services, application protection, and secure access. - Driving proof of concepts for existing or new services on AWS or Azure as per business requirements. - Leading architectural discussions to ensure successful deployment of solutions in the cloud. - Providing strategic thought leadership on enterprise cloud security posture, focusing on leveraging emerging AI technologies and addressing risks associated with AI adoption. Key Responsibilities: - Using appropriate design techniques and methodologies to perform proof of concepts and showcase outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders. - Developing current and future state architecture roadmaps. - Aligning and promoting enterprise technology principles and strategy. - Contributing to and authoring application and capability strategies. - Establishing, maintaining, and applying architecture standards, disciplines, and principles. - Mentoring and developing less experienced technical staff. - Recommending new procedures and processes to drive desired results on diverse projects. - Partnering with other architects and application development teams to ensure alignment and integration across portfolio boundaries. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; or related work experience. - 9-14 years of relevant experience with hands-on engineering experience on AWS cloud services. - Knowledge of Enterprise-wide architecture and the ability to understand the impact of current and future technologies. - Experience in the architecture, design, implementation, and support of complex enterprise solutions. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to design appropriate solutions. Preferred Qualifications: - Demonstrated ability to explain technical solutions to technical and non-technical teams. - Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. - Strong analytical skills to break down complex problems and design appropriate solutions.
