Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Marketing Operations Professional to support and lead initiatives across citizen development, platform administration, and application governance. This role will play a critical part in enabling scalable, efficient, and compliant marketing technology solutions that empower both technical and non-technical users

Here is how, through this exciting role, you will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

Citizen Development Enablement: Partner with marketing stakeholders to support and scale low-code/no-code application development, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT standards.
Platform Administration: Serve as a primary administrator for key marketing technologies and automation platforms (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, workflow tools), ensuring optimal configuration, access controls, and performance.
Technical Leadership: Drive the design, development, and deployment of technical solutions to support marketing processes, integrating systems and automating workflows where appropriate.
Database Governance: Help own the database quality and integrity within our databases, inclusive of governance of data quality and relevance through governance, automation, and maintenance.
Governance & Compliance: Establish and enforce governance standards for citizen-developed tools and applications, including data integrity, documentation, version control, and security compliance.
Training & Support: Educate marketing teams on platform capabilities and development best practices, acting as a bridge between business users and IT.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, data, legal, and compliance teams to ensure all developed solutions are robust, scalable, and meet organizational standards.

To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

Strong understanding of marketing operations, Martech stack, and digital campaign workflows.
Proficiency in low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, Salesforce, Workato, Zapier, etc.).
Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot) and CRM systems.
Technical aptitude in scripting, APIs, and systems integration.
Knowledge of application lifecycle management, governance frameworks, and compliance practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A hybrid professional with a marketing mindset and a technical toolkit. Youre equally comfortable talking campaign strategy or automating a process with a no-code tool. You enjoy empowering others through scalable solutions and take pride in building systems that are both effective and compliant.
