About The Opportunity
A specialist operating in the Market Research & Consumer/B2B Insights sector, this role focuses on telephone-based primary research (CATI) across India. You will join an on-site team delivering high-quality, quota-driven survey data for clients across FMCG, healthcare, financial services, and technology.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume CATI interviews following provided questionnaires and scripts, ensuring professional and consistent respondent engagement.
- Meet daily and weekly call/interview targets while managing quotas, sampling frames, and respondent screening rules accurately.
- Use CATI platforms and dialer systems to schedule calls, log responses, and ensure clean, interview-ready datasets.
- Validate and enter data with precision; flag inconsistencies and follow up for clarifications or quality checks as required.
- Maintain respondent confidentiality and adhere to company and client compliance standards, including no-bias interviewing and consent processes.
- Collaborate with supervisors and field leads to optimize scripts, improve completion rates, and resolve respondent issues promptly.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must-Have
- 1+ years experience in CATI/telephone interviewing or proven call-centre survey experience.
- Excellent verbal communication in English and proficiency in one or more regional languages (Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, etc.).
- Comfortable using CATI/dialer software and basic tools (MS Excel, Google Sheets, CRM).
- High accuracy in data capture, strong attention to detail, and ability to follow scripted questions exactly.
- On-site availability and willingness to work in shift patterns to meet project timelines.
- Preferred
- Prior exposure to market research methodologies, quota management, and sample weighting concepts.
- Experience with specific CATI platforms (e.g., Voxco, Confirmit, SurveyCTO or similar) and CRM systems.
- Graduate degree or diploma in commerce, social sciences, statistics, or related fields.
