Presales Executive – Government Projects & GeM

Experience: 2-3 Years

Location: INFOSURGE EXPERT LLP Cabin M2, 15th Floor, Workbox, ESquare Building, Plot C2, Sector 96, Noida, U.P 201301

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose suitable technical and commercial solutions.
• Analyze tenders, RFPs, RFQs, and EoIs from government departments and PSUs.
• Prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals, compliance matrices, and presentations in response to government bids.
•  Coordinate and submit bids via the GeM portal, including product listing, catalog management, pricing, and compliance.
• Liaise with internal teams (technical, legal, finance) for proposal inputs and documentation.
• Stay up to date with procurement policies, government norms, and vendor registration guidelines.
• Maintain an opportunity pipeline and track bid status, wins/losses, and feedback from clients.
• Assist in client meetings and demo sessions as a support lead for solution explanation.
• Maintain and update knowledge base of standard documentation for quick turnaround. 

Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in a Presales role, preferably handling government clients.
• Proven experience with GeM portal operations, tendering process, and bid submissions.
•  Strong communication skills—written and verbal.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•  Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with public sector procurement norms and processes.
