Role Overview:

PreSales Executive

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Discovery & Client Engagement

  • Participate in initial sales calls to qualify leads and identify client pain points.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to gather business goals and document detailed use cases.
  • Analyze client operations and recommend optimal outsourcing models (FTE-based, task-based, dedicated resources, etc.).

2. Proposal & Solution Design

  • Create custom solution proposals with detailed workflow diagrams, delivery models, service scopes, and pricing structures.
  • Collaborate with delivery and operations teams to ensure the feasibility and accuracy of proposed solutions.
  • Develop tailored pitch decks, Statements of Work (SoWs), and service agreements in collaboration with legal/compliance teams.

3. Sales Enablement & Support

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert (SME) during client meetings, demos, and capability presentations.
  • Create and maintain presales collateral such as use cases, process maps, ROI analyses, and transition plans.
  • Maintain a repository of solution templates, case studies, and service blueprints.

4. Client Transition Handover

  • Ensure smooth transition of client requirements to delivery teams post-deal closure.
  • Document key transition elements including process risks, timelines, and critical success factors.
  • Participate in onboarding calls during the first 24 weeks post-signing to ensure successful handoff and client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 34 years of hands-on experience in Presales or Solution Consulting within a BPO/KPO/outsourcing environment catering to financial services.
  • Proven client-facing experience across areas such as Accounting, Financial Planning, Bookkeeping, Mortgage Broking, Taxation, or SMSF.
  • Strong experience in preparing proposals, SoWs, and pricing models.
  • Expertise in process mapping and documentation using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with comfort in engaging CXOs, Practice Managers, and Financial Advisors.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools — particularly Excel (for pricing), PowerPoint (for presentations), and Word (for documentation).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with outsourcing models including FTE-based, seat-based, and task-based pricing.
  • Understanding of Australian, UK, and US financial compliance standards.
  • Experience working alongside Business Development Managers or Sales Consultants.
