Power System Expert

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Power System Expert to join our team at Dornier Group (India) Private Limited. The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of relevant experience with proven expertise in power system studies, grid integration, and grid code compliance, utilizing advanced industry-standard software and tools, along with a solid understanding of IEEE standards.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Perform power system studies and analyses using Electrical Transient and Analysis Program (ETAP),

Power Systems Computer Aided Design (PSCAD), and other power system simulation software.

·        Develop and implement Energy Management Systems for efficient power monitoring and control.

·        Conduct grid integration studies, ensuring compliance with national and international grid codes and

standards.

·        Configure relay settings and protection schemes in accordance with IEEE Standards.

·        Prepare specifications for Grid Substations and provide technical evaluation.

·        Oversee design, installation, and commissioning of both High Tension and Low-Tension transmission

lines.

·        Ensure grid code compliance throughout project execution and operation.

·        Provide technical guidance and validation during project development, construction, and operation

phases.

·        Develop technical reports, compliance documents, and operation manuals in alignment with project

and regulatory requirements.

·        Performed load flow (time series) analysis, reactive power studies, and harmonic assessments

including Total Harmonic Distortion and Total Demand Distortion in compliance with IEEE 519

standards.

·        Conducted performance analysis of substations.

·        Analyze Plant Load Factor, Capacity Utilization Factor, and Performance Ratio.

Software Proficiency:

·        Electrical Transient and Analysis Program (ETAP)

·        Power Systems Computer Aided Design (PSCAD)

Qualifications:

·        Master’s degree in electrical / power system engineering or a related field.

·        5-10 years of relevant professional experience in power system studies, grid integration, and

transmission line projects.

·        Working experience with Grid Integration & Grid Code Compliance, IEEE Standards, Relay Settings,

Grid Substations Specification and High Tension and Low-Tension Transmission Lines.

·        Working experience in Battery Energy Storage System is an added advantage.
