We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with 2+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports, leveraging your expertise in Power BI and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data integration, data modeling, and visualization, along with hands-on experience with Microsoft BI tools and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Key Responsibilities: • Power BI Development: • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations. • Create data models, DAX queries, and calculations to support business intelligence needs. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • ETL Processes: • Utilize SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reports by implementing robust ETL pipelines. • Data Warehousing and OLAP: • Develop and manage SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) cubes for multidimensional data analysis. • Optimize OLAP models for performance and scalability. • Database Management: • Work with MS SQL and PL/SQL to write complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers. • Ensure optimal database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. • Azure Data Factory (ADF): • Integrate and orchestrate data workflows using Azure Data Factory. • Monitor and manage ADF pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data processing. • Collaboration and Documentation: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business users. • Maintain clear documentation for all developed solutions and processes.Required Skills and Qualifications: • Experience: 3-9 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and related technologies. • Technical Proficiency: • Strong knowledge of Power BI, DAX, and data visualization best practices. • Experience with SSIS, SSAS, and MS SQL / PL SQL. • Proficiency in creating and managing ETL processes and OLAP models. • Working knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF). • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications: • Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Power BI, Azure, or related certifications. • Experience in: Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and cloud-based data solutions.
