Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power BI Engineer with strong proficiency in SQL and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development using Power BI, along with a solid background in writing complex SQL queries and managing data sources. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations. Write optimized and scalable SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. Develop and maintain data models, DAX measures, and ETL pipelines where necessary. Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across all BI outputs. Conduct performance tuning for Power BI reports and SQL queries. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other teams to integrate Power BI into enterprise-level data systems. Monitor and troubleshoot Power BI services, including gateway configuration and scheduled refreshes. Document solutions, processes, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation. Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI development. Strong knowledge of data modeling, DAX, and Power Query (M). Proficient in working with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Understanding of data governance and security models in Power BI. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
