Power BI Developer

Job Summary

LeverageAxiom Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Power BI Developer to design, develop, and deploy business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and visualization design, along with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into insightful reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business reporting requirements from internal teams or clients.
• Design and build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Service.
• Develop robust data models, measures, and calculated columns using DAX.
• Connect to multiple data sources (Excel, SharePoint, SQL, ODBC, etc.) and transform data using Power Query (M).
• Create and manage datasets, dataflows, and scheduled refreshes in the Power BI Service.
• Work with stakeholders to define KPIs and visualization standards.
• Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy.
• Provide post-deployment support, enhancements, and documentation.
• Collaborate with the automation team for Power BI integration with Power Automate and SharePoint.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Power BI report and dashboard development.
• Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling principles.
• Experience connecting to SharePoint, Excel, SQL, or ODBC data sources.
• Understanding of requirement gathering, solution design, and effort estimation.
• Familiarity with Row-Level Security (RLS) and Power BI Service publishing.
• Experience in Power Automate or Excel macros is a plus.
• Good communication, analytical, and client-handling skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
