About The Role

• We are hiring a Senior Power BI Developer for a remote contract role based in India. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Power BI development, report creation, and strong skills in SQL and DAX. This is a great opportunity to contribute to high-impact analytics projects in a fast-paced environment.
  

What Youll Do

• Build interactive Power BI dashboards and paginated reports aligned with business goals
• Manage and maintain the Power BI ecosystem, including workspace access, monitoring, and data security
• Write optimized SQL queries for data transformation and analysis
• Develop and troubleshoot complex DAX measures and calculated columns
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and design intuitive visualizations
• Participate in data integration processes; SSIS experience will be beneficial
• Work with Snowflake (on Azure) as part of the data architecture (preferred but not mandatory)
  

Skills & Experience Required

• 6+ years of experience in Power BI development and platform management
• Strong practical understanding of Power BI architecture (security, permissions, governance)
• Proficiency in writing custom DAX functions for dynamic reporting
• Deep experience in SQL for querying, performance tuning, and data modeling
• Familiarity with creating paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder
• Background in SSIS is a plus
• Exposure to Snowflake on Azure is advantageous
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a structured approach to data visualization
• Ability to translate user needs into effective BI solutions
