Power BI Developer

Job Description

Lead the migration of existing dashboards and reports from Looker to Power BI, ensuring seamless transition with minimal disruption. Design, develop, and deploy complex Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations that translate business requirements into actionable insights. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and implement appropriate data visualization solutions. Optimize data models to ensure efficient report performance and data accuracy. Implement and maintain best practices for Power BI development, including documentation standards, version control, and deployment processes. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on BI development. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data connectivity, data modeling, and report functionality. Stay current with Power BI updates and new features, recommending improvements to our BI infrastructure. Qualifications 4 - 6 years of professional experience in business intelligence and data visualization. Extensive experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling. Proven experience migrating BI solutions from Looker to Power BI. Strong SQL skills and experience working with various data sources. Experience with the full Microsoft BI stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS). Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
