Job Role: Power Apps Senior Developer / Architect

Job Type: Contract

Job Location: Remote

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Apps Senior Developer / Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, user-centric applications for our retail store operations. This role will be instrumental in driving digital transformation across in-store processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and improving customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design

Architect and develop end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Design intuitive, responsive, and secure applications tailored for retail store environments.
Ensure seamless integration with existing enterprise systems (e.g., POS, EBS and HRMS).
Implementation of workflow-based approval mechanism

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with business analysts, store operations, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Lead design workshops and solution walkthroughs with stakeholders.

Development & Delivery

Build reusable components, custom connectors, and scalable workflows.
Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and accessibility standards.

Leadership & Mentoring

Provide technical leadership to junior developers and external partners.
Establish and enforce development standards and documentation practices.

Continuous Improvement

Monitor application performance and user feedback to drive iterative enhancements.
Stay updated with Microsoft Power Platform advancements and retail tech trends.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
8+ years of experience in enterprise application development, with at least 4 years in Power Platform.
Proven experience in designing and deploying Power Apps solutions in a retail or consumer-facing environment.
Strong knowledge of Dataverse, SharePoint, Azure services, and API integrations.
Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills:

Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
Expert knowledge of Power Automate and Dataverse
Experience with omnichannel retail systems, POS integrations, and store inventory workflows.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
