Required Skills:
• Exposure to data migration, including use of COPY, FDW, and data loaders.
• Understanding of indexes, constraints, and transaction isolation levels.
• Knowledge of other databases (Oracle, MySQL) and migration strategies.
• Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions
in PostgreSQL.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of PostgreSQL queries and indexing
strategies.
• Work closely with application developers, data engineers, and architects to
implement efficient data structures and access paths.
• Migrate data from legacy systems or other RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, DB2) into PostgreSQL.
• Write ETL scripts and batch jobs for data processing and transformation.
