Policy Compliance Advisor

Insurance

Location: Aston Vista, Nr. ISKCON Cross Roads, S.G Highway, Ahmedabad - 380059

Office Timing: Monday to Friday: (9:30 AM – 6:30 PM) & Saturday: (9:30 AM – 3:00 PM)


Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Policy Compliance Officer to oversee regulatory compliance, internal policy development, and risk management activities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the organization’s adherence to insurance regulations, particularly in coordination with IRDAI and other regulatory bodies.


Key Responsibilities:

 Regulatory & Policy Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all applicable insurance regulations and internal policies. Stay updated on regulatory changes and communicate implications to relevant stakeholders.

 Policy & Document Review:

Review and update internal policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and organizational goals.

 Risk Management & Assessment:

Conduct regular risk assessments, identify compliance gaps, and develop mitigation strategies. Prepare and present risk reports to senior management.

 Return Filing on Insurance Portal:

Manage accurate and timely filing of returns on insurance regulatory portals. Maintain documentation and ensure readiness for audits.

 Coordination with Regulators:

Liaise with IRDAI and other regulatory authorities for compliance-related matters, inspections, and reporting.

 Internal Policy and Program Development:

Lead the development and implementation of internal compliance programs and training initiatives to promote a culture of compliance.


Key Skills :

 Strong regulatory knowledge, especially in the insurance domain

 Expertise in risk management and compliance assessment

 Experience in coordinating with IRDAI and other regulators

 Proficiency in internal policy and program development

 Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills


Eligibility:

 Education: Any

 Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs within the insurance or financial services sector

 Proven track record of working with regulatory bodies and managing compliance programs
