Role Overview

We are looking for a senior-level Podcast Placement Specialist / PR Agent who is more than just an outreach expert—you are a media strategist. You know how to identify the right platforms, craft irresistible pitches, and secure meaningful media opportunities that amplify client brands.

This role requires end-to-end ownership: from curating podcast and PR targets, writing high-conversion pitches, and securing bookings to managing host/client relationships, prepping clients, and tracking results. If you have a proven track record of getting executives featured on high-signal podcasts and reputable media outlets, this is the opportunity to make a direct impact and shape an entire function from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

🎙️ Podcast & Media Identification

• Research, shortlist, and prioritize top-tier podcasts and media opportunities tailored to client industries and narratives

• Evaluate shows and outlets using tools like Rephonic, Podchaser, ListenNotes, and PR databases for audience reach, quality, and relevance

✍️ Pitching & Outreach

• Write personalized, high-impact pitches that resonate with hosts, producers, and journalists

• Secure placements by managing outreach, follow-ups, and relationship-building

• Consistently maintain above-industry-average booking and response rates

🤝 Coordination & Client Prep

• Serve as the bridge between clients and media—ensuring seamless scheduling and communication

• Create briefing documents and talking points so clients show up prepared and aligned with each platform’s style and audience

• Manage logistics from first pitch to post-publication promotion

📊 Tracking & Reporting

• Keep precise records of all outreach, secured placements, and published links

• Share clear, data-driven reports on campaign performance and impact

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 2+ years of experience in podcast booking, media relations, or PR strategy

• Proven success placing founders, executives, or thought leaders on high-signal podcasts or in earned media

• Exceptional English writing skills with a copywriting edge—crafting pitches is your superpower

• Deep understanding of podcast targeting, PR psychology, and guest-fit evaluation

• Ability to juggle multiple client accounts with speed, precision, and creativity

• Proficiency with tools: Rephonic, Podchaser, ListenNotes, Apollo/Instantly, Airtable/Google Sheets

• Bonus: Experience in content marketing or brand communications
