As a Shift Engineer, you are responsible to support the wholeengineering team and to ensure that the engineering and maintenance operationswithin the . Shift Engineer is required to schedule andsupervise the maintenance and repair work, facilities and equipment; and toperform the complex skilled maintenance and repair work in electrical,plumbing, carpentry, mechanical maintenance and custodial maintenance ofBuilding and facilities. He will be overall incharge of all electromechanical services and manage maintain operations of allelectromechanical services with the help of technical staff under him. He willbe accountable to Technical Manager for ensuring that all services aremaintained operational and will be responsible to take independent decision forhandling emergencies/breakdowns. Essential duties& responsibilities include but not limited to: Prepare & Implement Planned Preventive Maintenance and assumeresponsibility for completion of assigned tasks. Prepare estimates on building repair and maintenance jobs;evaluate maintenance and repair needs. Maintaining & Operationof Assets of Facility Equipments (HVAC, Transformers, DG Plumbing & FireFighting System). Co-coordinating staff requirements and staff briefings. Ensure that all theengineering & maintenance activities/systems adhere to thestandards / efficiency / productivity levels that have been set for the unit. Respond promptly, courteously and efficiently to any maintenance callsthat arise either by the clients or other departments to their satisfaction. Able to prioritise the maintenance issues e.g.: to attend the breakdownof plant and machinery on priority. Inform Technical Manager of recurring complaints and prepare defectanalysis to derive corrective action plan. Responsible to take decisions when the Tech. Manager and Assistant Managerare not available. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies asneeded. Train and instruct other members of the staff through sharing ofknowledge and skills. Coordinate with consultants and architects to ensure timely receipt of drawings (and BOQs); Seek clarifications on drawings, if required. Supervise and inspect construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications; Highlight deviations and escalate issues to the Project Manager, if required. Monitor daily operations at the site and ensure adherence to the project plan; Coordinate activities of the various contractors at the project site to ensure work is undertaken as per timelines. Maintain daily progress reports and ensure timely communication of critical information from the projects site to the Project Manager; Continuously monitor the project budget, resource requirements, cycle time and productivity levels. Coordinate with the Purchase Department for timely communication of material specifications, indenting and sample selection; Highlight deviations from the material delivery plan. Coordinate with other agencies (plumbing, waterproofing, electrical etc) to ensure continuous progress of construction work. Ensure timely receipt of bills from contractors; Undertake periodic checking of all bills and promptly forward to Quantity Survey for processing. Assist in conducting periodic audits to drive compliance with ISO requirements and other quality safety standards (statutory and organizational); Ensure timely documentation and maintenance of records. Ensure timely preparation of the required checklists, hand over lists, snag lists etc; Drive timely rectification of defects as and when required Witness all quality tests; Record test results and submit the same to the Project Manager. Interact with the customers at the site and ensure timely resolution of all queries with respect to the project. Assist in the timely handover of the project to the Marketing Department post completion; Ensure compliance with all applicable laws statutes and timely hand over of all property-related documents

BE Mechanical/Electrical with 8+ years of experience, having expertise in MEP-Contracts, Fire protection systems, and other MEP services for Hospitality Projects(High Luxury Hotels) Core Responsibility: 1. Knowledge of MEP related services such as Electrical, PHE, FF, HVAC, STP, WTP, Security and Surveillance, Networking etc., 2.
