Plumbing Head

Job Summary:

Aeon Integrated Building Design Consultants LLP is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head Plumbing Design to lead and manage plumbing design activities across multiple projects. The role involves strategic planning, technical leadership, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with national and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the plumbing design department and manage end-to-end plumbing systems design for residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and industrial projects.
• Oversee design of water supply, drainage, sewage, storm water, rainwater harvesting, and firefighting interface systems.
• Review and approve plumbing design calculations, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (NBC, CPHEEO, local by-laws, and international standards where applicable).
• Coordinate with HVAC, electrical, fire-fighting, architectural, and structural teams for integrated design delivery.
• Guide and mentor plumbing engineers, designers, and draughtsmen.
• Participate in design review meetings with clients, architects, and project stakeholders.
• Support business development by providing technical inputs for proposals and tenders.
• Ensure timely project delivery with high quality and cost efficiency.
• Address technical issues during construction and provide site support when required.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in plumbing system design and engineering practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and plumbing design software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across different locations.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
