Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Playwright located in Hyderabad. The Playwright will be responsible for developing and structuring engaging scripts and crafting compelling narratives. Day-to-day responsibilities include conceptualizing storylines, conducting research to inform script content, collaborating with directors or producers, and refining drafts through iterative editing. The role requires maintaining creativity under deadlines and ensuring that the material aligns with project goals and intended audience engagement. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Playwright will contribute to dynamic storytelling within professional productions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in creative scriptwriting, story development, and storytelling principles
• Strong editing and proofreading skills with the ability to rework content and refine dialogue
• Capability in research and analysis to ensure authenticity and accuracy in scripts
• Collaborative skills to work alongside directors, producers, and other stakeholders
• Effective time management to meet deadlines without compromising quality
• Prior experience in theater, film, or related creative industries is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Literature, Creative Writing, Performing Arts, or a related field
