Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled

Platform Architect

to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of containerized platforms and cloud-native infrastructure. This role demands deep technical expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD automation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and resilient platforms that support modern application development and deployment

Key Responsibilities

Containerization & Docker

Architect and build containerized applications across diverse technology stacks.
Develop optimized, production-grade Dockerfiles using multi-stage builds and security best practices.
Manage Docker registries and oversee image lifecycle and versioning strategies.

Kubernetes Operations

Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters in both on-premises and cloud environments (EKS, AKS, GKE).
Create and maintain Kubernetes manifests including Deployments, Services, and Ingress Controllers.
Implement auto-scaling, resource management, and cluster monitoring solutions.
Troubleshoot orchestration issues and optimize cluster performance.

Infrastructure & Automation

Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Helm, and other tools.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated container deployment and testing.
Integrate monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
Design and manage service mesh architectures (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) for secure microservices communication.

Development Support

Partner with development teams to streamline container workflows and deployment strategies.
Provide architectural guidance and enforce best practices in platform engineering.

Requirements

Technical Expertise

Docker
: 4+ years of experience in containerization and image lifecycle management.
Kubernetes
: 3+ years of hands-on experience in cluster administration and orchestration.
Container Platforms
: Experience with Docker Swarm, OpenShift, and managed Kubernetes services (EKS, GKE, AKS).
CI/CD Tools
: Proficiency in Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
Infrastructure as Code
: Skilled in Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation.
Programming & Scripting
: Strong command of Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell.
Configuration Management
: Expertise in YAML, JSON, and Helm templating.

Version Control
: Deep understanding of Git and GitOps workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in platform scalability and high-availability architecture.
Familiarity with cloud-native design patterns and microservices architecture.

Certifications in Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus
