Role Overview

OpenShift Container Platform Engineer

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining highly available, secure, and scalable container platforms supporting business-critical workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and support

  Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform

  environments.
• Manage and optimize

  ODF (Ceph Storage)

  for persistent workloads.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrated with OpenShift.
• Configure and manage container networking using

  SDN / OVN Kubernetes

  .
• Monitor clusters using

  Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki stack

  .
• Troubleshoot cluster, storage, networking, and performance issues.
• Automate platform operations using

  Ansible and Shell scripting

  .
• Enforce security best practices for containerized workloads.
• Perform cluster upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7–10+ years overall IT experience with

  5+ years in OpenShift administration

• Strong hands-on experience with

  ODF / Ceph storage

  .
• Solid understanding of containerization and Kubernetes concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automation.
• Strong knowledge of networking and security in container platforms.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Education:

  BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
