Plant Manager HR, IR & Admin

As a Plant Manager for HR, IR & Admin at Saint-Gobain's Bangalore Plant located at KIADB Industrial Area, Harohalli Cross, you will play a crucial role in leading the HR, IR, and administrative functions. Your responsibilities will include ensuring smooth industrial relations, managing union interactions, executing the plant's HR strategy, and fostering a culture aligned with the organization's values. Your role is essential in driving the overall HR, IR & Admin functions to support business goals and organizational values. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the HR, IR, and administrative functions at the plant level - Manage union interactions, including long-term settlements, and foster culture building - Execute the plant's HR strategy and handle employee engagement and grievance redressal - Ensure 100% manpower availability (permanent and contingent) and support statutory compliance - Implement WCM practices, especially the People Development pillar, and contribute to CSR initiatives - Resolve conflicts, develop training plans, mitigate skill gaps, and enhance employee participation in continuous improvement programs - Interact frequently with internal teams and local authorities to maintain a harmonious work environment Qualifications: - Proficiency in Industrial Relations (IR) and employee engagement at the shop floor level - Hands-on experience in HR strategy execution, union management, and long-term settlements - Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and grievance handling mechanisms - Ability to manage contingent workforce and ensure manpower readiness - Experience in implementing WCM practices, training calendars, and skill assessments - Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills - Self-motivated, analytical, proactive, and a strong team player with high energy - Preferably an MSW or MBA in HR; BL/LLB is an added advantage - Minimum 12-15 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment If you or someone you know would be a great fit for this role, please send updated resumes to Careers.GyprocIndia@saint-gobain.com.,
