Role & responsibilities

1.

• Lead

  daily

  plant

  operationsfrom

  raw

  material

  processing

  to

  finished

  goods

  delivery.

• Set

  and

  execute

  production

  schedules

  that

  reliably

  meet

  volume,

  timelines,

  and

  quality expectations.

• Monitor

  OEE

  (Overall

  Equipment

  Efficiency),

  production

  variances,

  and

  institute

  corrective actions to boost efficiency and reduce waste .

• Ensure

  timely

  MIS

  (Management

  Information

  System)

  reporting

  and

  analysis

  for

  data- driven decisions .

2.

• Lead

  the

  implementation

  and

  maintenance

  of

  Quality

  and

  EHS

  standards,

  driving continuous improvement .

• Establish

  and

  oversee

  quality

  control

  processes,

  inspections,

  and

  documentation.

• Manage

  safety

  systems,

  audits,

  and

  corrective

  actions,

  fostering

  a

  strong

  safety

  culture.

• Implement

  and

  monitor

  management

  systems.

3.

• Implement

  preventive

  and

  predictive

  maintenance

  programs

  to

  optimize

  machinery uptime and reliability .

• Lead

  plant

  upgrades

  and

  projectsensuring

  theyre

  delivered

  within

  scope,

  budget,

  and schedule .

• Execute

  cost-efficiency

  programs

  and

  continuous

  improvement

  initiatives

  (Lean,

  Six

  Sigma, etc.) .

4.

• Prepare

  and

  manage

  the

  plant’s

  budgets

  (labor,

  energy,

  materials,

  maintenance).

• Control

  costs

  and

  identify

  opportunities

  for

  savings.

• Track

  conversion

  costs,

  wastage,

  and

  variances;

  apply

  root-cause

  analysis

  to

  steer improvements .

5.

• Build,

  nurture,

  and

  lead

  a

  high-performing

  team

  across

  production,

  engineering,

  and quality.

• Oversee

  performance

  evaluations,

  development

  plans,

  and

  training

  programs

  .

• Manage

  union

  negotiations

  and

  maintain

  industrial

  harmony,

  ensuring

  labor

  productivity and discipline .

6.

• Coordinate

  seamlessly

  with

  departments

  like

  procurement,

  sales,

  supply

  chain,

  and finance, head-office team.

• Present

  regular

  performance

  summaries—covering

  production,

  quality,

  safety,

  efficiency— to senior leadership .

Qualifications & Skills

• Education:

  Bachelor's

  in

  Mechanical/Chemical

  Engineering;

  MBA/Operations

  Management preferred .

• Experience: 15+ years in manufacturing, preferably with polymer-modified bitumen or infrastructure

  materials.

  Prior

  experience

  leading

  an

  entire

  plant

  or

  equivalent

  operations head role is highly valued .
