Job Description

Lead the setup and commissioning of the EV battery manufacturing plant, ensuring all systems, machinery, and equipment are properly installed and operational. Work closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure that the plant setup aligns with design specifications and production requirements. Oversee the testing and calibration of machinery and equipment to ensure smooth initial production runs. Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and consultants for the installation of specialized equipment used in Lithium-Ion battery manufacturing.Develop and implement production plans to meet plant output targets and deadlines while maintaining high product quality. Optimize production processes, reduce downtime, and streamline workflows to increase efficiency and meet customer delivery timelines.Plan and manage labour requirements for all production shifts, ensuring that sufficient and qualified staff is available to meet production demands. Monitor and control labor costs by optimizing workforce allocation while ensuring compliance with labor laws and union regulations (if applicable).Oversee inventory management for critical raw materials required for Lithium-Ion battery production, including Lithium, BMS, Cells Enclosures and other components. Develop and implement stock planning strategies to avoid stockouts and reduce excess inventory, balancing supply and demand efficiently. Monitor and manage supply chain operations to ensure timely procurement of materials and prevent disruptions in production.Ensure the ongoing maintenance and smooth operation of all machinery, equipment, and plant facilities. Establish a preventive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime, improve equipment lifespan, and ensure consistent production output.
