Plant ER Head

As an Employee Relations Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing all labor and factory-related legal matters to ensure compliance and timely resolution. You will be responsible for proactively identifying short, medium, and long-term employee relations risks and implementing strategic mitigation plans. Your role will also involve developing and implementing legally compliant manpower employment models to optimize wage costs, enhance flexibility, and mitigate ER risks. Key Responsibilities: - Proactively identify short, medium, and long-term employee relations risks and implement strategic mitigation plans. - Manage all labor and factory-related legal matters, ensuring compliance and timely resolution. - Develop and implement legally compliant manpower employment models to optimize wage costs, enhance flexibility, and mitigate ER risks. - Oversee the full lifecycle and engagement of blue-collar workforce to promote a productive and progressive work environment. - Champion employee wellbeing initiatives through welfare programs and canteen operations. - Collaborate with stakeholders for continuous capability enhancement through workforce multiskilling and productivity initiatives. - Play a key role in long-term settlement (LTS) negotiations with unions; maintain healthy industrial relations with unions, contractors, and legal advisors. - Address disciplinary and misconduct cases with statutory due diligence. Qualifications Required: - MBA in Human Resources / Masters in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations / MSW In addition to the technical skills and knowledge of employment laws, sociology, basic finance, and data interpretation & analytical skills, you will need to possess behavioral skills such as negotiation & conflict management, social & cultural awareness, interpersonal relationship building, strategic orientation, time management & prioritization to excel in this role.,
