Planning & Scheduling Engineers

The Project Executive/Lead Planning Site is responsible for preparing, updating, and monitoring detailed construction schedules and coordinating all planning-related activities at the project site. This role ensures timely execution through effective tracking of progress, forecasting, resource allocation, and proactive reporting. It plays a critical role in aligning on-ground execution with baseline plans and supporting the project team in achieving key milestones.

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (Level 2/3) in alignment with the master baseline using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.

• Break down the work scope into WBS elements and generate activity-wise schedules with logical relationships, duration, milestones, and resource assignments.

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and execution teams to align schedule inputs, update actual progress, and reflect changes in real-time to maintain accuracy.

• Conduct regular look-ahead planning (weekly/monthly) to highlight upcoming critical activities, resource requirements, and potential bottlenecks.

• Monitor project progress by tracking physical and financial achievements against planned targets, and report variances with corrective action recommendations

Minimum Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering; Certification or Diploma in Project Planning / Primavera is an added advantage.

Language Skills

• Proficiency in English and Hindi; regional language preferred for site communication.

• Extensive hands-on experience in construction project scheduling, monitoring, resource planning, and coordination using project management tools across infrastructure or building project sites.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel (including S-curve and resource graphs).
• Strong understanding of WBS, CPM, float management, and delay analysis.

Leadership / Behavioral Skills

• Strong analytical and forecasting abilities, Proactive in identifying and mitigating delays or risks.
