Job Title: Planning Manager – Metro Projects

Location: Chennai
Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. – Civil
Experience: Minimum 10 years (all in Metro projects) with at least 8 years in Planning function

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor project planning systems for metro projects in line with contractual requirements.
• Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project covering design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Monitor project progress against baseline and prepare variance analysis reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure effective planning and scheduling.
• Identify critical paths, potential delays, and propose mitigation measures to maintain project timelines.
• Prepare and review resource-loaded schedules, manpower histograms, and equipment utilization plans.
• Track contractual milestones and support the team in timely submission of reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly/weekly progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and client review.
• Support claims and extension of time (EOT) by providing proper documentation and schedule analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, quality, safety, and client specifications.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Excellent knowledge of metro construction sequences (civil, track, MEP, systems).
• Good understanding of contractual requirements, risk management, and claims support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹640,171.79 - ₹2,198,744.83 per year

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
