Planning Manager

As a Planning Manager, your role is fundamental to the infrastructure of engineering projects. You will be responsible for various key tasks including: - Scheduling, project tracking, and contract administration which involves managing contracts, claims, and project documents. - Project Planning and Scheduling: Creating detailed schedules for project phases, determining required resources and setting realistic timelines. - Resource Allocation: Identifying and ensuring availability of necessary resources like materials, manpower, and equipment to prevent delays. - Risk Management: Conducting risk assessments, developing mitigation strategies to address potential issues. - Cost Control: Monitoring project expenditures, predicting financial overruns, and implementing cost-saving measures. - Quality Assurance: Implementing quality control processes to maintain project standards. - Stakeholder Communication: Regularly updating project stakeholders on progress, schedule changes, and budget updates. - Performance Reporting: Preparing detailed reports on project progress against milestones and budgets. - Compliance and Safety: Ensuring project activities comply with legal standards and safety regulations for a safe working environment.
