You will work with an energetic and collaborative team at Sundyne's office located in Pune, India. As a Planning Manager, you will be responsible for various aspects including production planning, supply chain management, process optimization, team leadership, and expertise in planning rotating equipment. Your role will involve project planning, generating project-specific requirements, managing schedules, and ensuring timely receipt of products. Effective communication and management skills are crucial for motivating suppliers, stakeholders, manufacturing personnel, and the project team. Additionally, you will need to work proficiently with international teams and influence key decision-makers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead end-to-end production/material planning and scheduling for compressors & pumps to meet customer demands and ensure on-time delivery. - Develop and implement capacity planning strategies to optimize production resources and reduce lead times. - Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and reduce excess stock. - Manage the planning team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental KPIs. - Analyze production data and adjust plans as needed to meet fluctuations in demand while balancing production efficiency and cost-effectiveness. - Oversee the implementation of ERP systems and ensure accurate data tracking for better planning and reporting. - Assist in developing production schedules and coordinating with relevant teams to align capacity with demand. - Monitor daily activities to ensure adherence to schedules and address bottlenecks or delays in real-time. - Contribute to process improvement projects, resulting in a reduction in lead time and improved on-time delivery performance. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. - Minimum 20 years of planning, scheduling, controlling experience in the pump & compressor industry. - Demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and effective follow-up with required stakeholders. - Working knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures used in the oil and gas, chemical, or related industry.
