Planning Engineer

Job Brief

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Planning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in MEP services and construction project planning, with hands-on experience in developing and managing detailed project schedules. You will play a crucial role in interpreting project data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring optimal project outcomes through effective planning and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive project plans and schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to establish accurate planning baselines.
• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules to maintain project timelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to minimize project delays.
• Prepare and present detailed planning and progress reports to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Track and manage project resources, including labor and accommodation planning.
• Liaise with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Provide daily updates to the project team regarding schedule and budget constraints.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Planning Engineer or similar role in the construction or engineering sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and MEP services.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or other project management software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
