Planning Engineer (Construction SaaS)

Whom are we looking for?

VisiLean is looking for an experienced Project Manager from the AEC domain who has worked

on execution of numerous construction projects. The person will be responsible for working

with one of our key clients in Mumbai for driving the strategic implementation of VisiLean on

the clients projects through their expertise in Civil Engineering & Digitalisation, encompassing

the domains of project planning, execution practices, control strategies, and the digital tools

and processes that enables these.

An essential aspect of this profile is to work with people closely, both on the client front, as

well as with the VisiLean team internally. Your direct exposure to the client will allow you to

understand their requirements to ensure the successful implementation of VisiLean on their

projects. The person will also be responsible for ensuring growth within the client organisation

to further the expansion of VisiLean across their portfolio of projects.

The role will involve working directly at the clients office and working with their team to

understand their project management processes, challenges, overall scope of digitalisation on

projects, and developing literature such as workflow documents, case studies, best practices,

and so on to present to the client team and their management to successfully demonstrate

the scope and success of including VisiLean on their projects.

What are the requirements of the role?

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in the AEC discipline with a Masters degree in the

domain of Construction Project Management.

• Relevant field experience between 3-5 years in construction projects, preferably in

multiple locations and cultural settings, with strong practical knowledge.

• Expertise in Project Planning and Management practices.
• Knowledge of project design and delivery tools (BIM), Lean Construction theory and

practices and their interface with project systems is a mandate.

• Excellent command over English language
• Experience in working with clients.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Supporting the client on their projects for VisiLean implementation.
• Effectively coordinate & lead demos, onboarding of new teams, and presentations to

management etc.

• Understanding client requirements and showcasing capabilities of VisiLean to address

their construction management challenges.

• This role will involve traveling to client project sites within the country.
• This role will involve training teams, supporting them on the ground, as well as building

workflows and use-cases to showcase best practices of project management.

• Leverage ongoing development of VisiLean solution in the client’s projects and assets

to improve participation and drive-up value in projects.

• Upsell VisiLean further within the client organisation impacting direct business growth.
• Work closely with the client IT team to demonstrate integration possibilities, best use-

cases for system deployment for various types of projects, and convincing project

teams on the benefits of deploying VisiLean.

• Literature and content development by accurately putting theory and knowledge into

working documents that can be used for Sales, Marketing, and Support & Engineering.
