Placement Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Placement Manager located in Kolkata. The Placement Manager will be responsible for overseeing the placement process for students, including coordinating with companies, organizing placement drives, and assisting students with placement preparation. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining relationships with industry partners, conducting employability workshops, managing placement records, and providing career guidance to students. The Placement Manager will also collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the employability of students and ensure successful placement outcomes.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Management or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in placements, corporate relations, or talent acquisition (preferably in an academic setup).
• Excellent networking, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational, presentation, and people management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and database management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain industry relationships
• Experience in career counseling and providing employability support
• Proficiency in managing placement records and databases
• Experience in organizing placement drives and recruitment events
• Familiarity with industry trends and job market demands
