Job Summary SolveByte is seeking a talented and creative PixiJS Developer to join our growing team in Indore. In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-performance 2D games, interactive gaming features, and rich visual elements for our iGaming platforms and custom game development projects. You will work closely with our design, art, and backend teams to bring engaging concepts to life, ensuring optimal performance across web and mobile devices. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality 2D games and interactive features using PixiJS and related web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, Canvas, WebGL). Collaborate with UI/UX designers and artists to translate visual concepts and mockups into functional and engaging interactive experiences. Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code. Optimize graphics, animations, and rendering performance for various devices and browsers, ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience. Integrate PixiJS components with backend APIs and platform services. Participate in the full game development lifecycle, including concept, design, development, testing, and deployment. Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely solutions. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in PixiJS, WebGL, 2D rendering techniques, and web game development. Contribute to a collaborative and innovative team environment, sharing knowledge and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications 1-3 years of professional experience as a PixiJS Developer or in a similar role focused on 2D web-based game or interactive application development. Proven experience with a strong portfolio showcasing 2D web-based games or interactive applications built with PixiJS. Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. Deep understanding and hands-on experience with the PixiJS library and its core concepts (sprites, textures, scenes, rendering pipeline, interactivity). Solid understanding of WebGL and the HTML5 Canvas API. Experience with 2D graphics, sprite sheets, texture atlases, and animation techniques. Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web graphics and animations. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Good communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred/Bonus Skills Experience in the iGaming or online casino game development industry. Knowledge of other JavaScript game frameworks or rendering engines (e.g., Phaser, Three.js for 2D aspects). Familiarity with TypeScript. Experience with build tools and module bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Parcel). Understanding of client-server communication and API integration. Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
