Deputy General Manager -Piping
Job Location: Gurgaon
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Piping and Design Layout Engineer having 15-25 years of experience in 3D environment using software S3DPDS/PDMS/E3D. Should have worked as Layout and Piping Engineer in Lead Position for 10 years in Thermal/CCPP and or Process Plants
Primary Responsibility:
- Should have 15 plus years of Experience
- Should have worked in a 3D environment using software S3DPDS/PDMS/E3D.
- Should have worked as Layout and Piping Engineer in Lead Position for 4-5 years in Thermal/CCPP and or Process Plants
- Should be well versed with piping layout inside buildings as well as in BOP outdoor areas as well as in buried piping.
- Should be able to handle Equipment / piping Layout Independently along with support from 2D/3D designers
- Should be able to independently prepare Piping Deliverables like Piping BOQ, Isometrics, GA drawings, PMC, etc taking help from team members.
- Should be experiences in interdisciplinary co-ordination as well as incorporation of their requirements in equipment and piping GA.
- Should have worked on Piping Specification/Wall Thickness Calculation
- Should have worked hands on in preparation of Valve & in-Line components’ Specifications/Datasheets
- Should have thorough knowledge about Piping Materials, their selection as well as relevant codes and standards
- Should be thorough with ASME/Indian Codes and Standards used in Power plants / Process Industry especially related to Piping.
- Should have thorough knowledge in Piping supports and preparation of related deliverables.
- Fair knowledge in Piping Stress Analysis and behaviour of piping systems in various load cases is expected.
- Hands-on experience in Caesar-II software will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of DIN codes and standards will be an added advantage.
- Should have required skills to work in a team as well as lead the team
- Should be experienced in directly dealing with domestic/international clients, attending meetings, communication orally as well as in writing
- Experience in international projects (European/American/Middle East) will be an added advantage.

Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 15-25 years of relevant professional experience in the Thermal industry, should have versed with piping layout inside buildings as well as in BOP outdoor areas as well as in buried piping.
